Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on return visits, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with the platform.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-<project>-auth-token | Essential | Authentication — keeps you signed in to your Easytiger account (set only when logged in; may be split across numbered chunks). | Session (renews on use) |
| et_lang | Functional | Remembers your language preference (English, Vietnamese, or French). | 1 year |
| et_last_signin | Functional | Remembers which sign-in method you last used on this device (Google, password or sign-in link), so the login page can mark it. Holds only that one word. | 1 year |
| et_demo_dismissed | Functional | Remembers that you dismissed the temporary pre-launch site notice. Removed at launch. | 60 days |
| et_analytics_consent | Essential | Remembers your analytics-cookie choice (accept or decline) so we don't ask again. | 6 months |
| et_rank_seed | Essential | A random, anonymous value that keeps the order of search results and assistant recommendations stable for you during a session (so the fair rotation doesn't reshuffle on every page). Contains no personal data. | Session |
| et_chat_guest | Essential | Set only if you use the AI assistant WITHOUT signing in. A random identifier for your browser, not derived from anything about you: it keeps your conversation when you reload the page and counts the free questions included before we ask you to sign in. Deleted when you sign in. Clearing it ends that conversation and starts a new allowance. | 1 year |
| et_chat_draft / et_chat_contact_prefill (browser sessionStorage, not cookies) | Functional | Keeps a message you typed in the assistant before signing in, and the summary you confirmed when you click Contact on a recommended professional, so the contact form can be pre-filled. Stored only in your browser tab, never sent in a web address; cleared when read or after 10–30 minutes. | Tab session |
| ph_phc_…_posthog (+ related) | Analytics | PostHog product analytics — measures how the site is used (which pages and flows, where people get stuck) so we can improve it. Set only after you accept; never before consent. | 1 year |
Analytics cookies are set only with your consent. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated with at least 14 days' notice.
The authentication cookies listed above are strictly necessary for the platform to function when you are logged in. They cannot be disabled without logging out. No consent is required for essential cookies under applicable law.
Functional cookies (such as et_lang) improve your experience but are not strictly required. You may clear these via your browser settings at any time without affecting core functionality.
We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) for two purposes. First, privacy-respecting product analytics — to understand which pages and flows are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve the platform. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept via the consent banner, and no analytics events are collected before you consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Manage cookies in the footer. Second, crash and error reporting — to detect and fix technical faults so the site keeps working. Because this is necessary to keep the service running, it operates on a legitimate-interest basis: it runs without setting a cookie and does not wait for your consent, and it never includes advertising or cross-site tracking.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Removing essential cookies will sign you out of your account. Useful guides for common browsers:
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our use of cookies or in applicable law. Material changes will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice.
